Dental Implant-Procedure

Before deciding for a dental implant is important the general health condition of the patient.Is not recommanded in case of hard smocking and drinking people,in case of diabetes and heart diseases.
If the general health condition of the patient allow the implant surgery,next step is a X-Ray panorama.According to this panorama the doctor will decide how many implants are needed,the quality of bone,if is necessary a tooth extraction beforre implantation,if is there enough space under the maxillary sinus or is necessary to lift mucous membrane of the sinus and to replace bone.
Also is necessary an examination of anatomical surrounding (route of nerves,examination of maxillary sinus).
After this is necessary to decide on the type of implant.

1.First step:
Surgery
The chosen implant crews are installed and fixed in the bone under the gum during surgery under anaesthesia.
Fixinf screw is placed into the stabilized implants then the gum above them is unfied again with absorbing stitches (in case of patient whom travels abroad after surgery).

2.Healing Step:
After the operation is necessary from 3 to 6 months as healing period.In the resting period the implant bonifies.

3.Final step:
The doctor frees the gum above the bonified implants,he places a so-called "healing screw"on it.
Finally the implant superstructures provide the connection between the implant and the crown to be placed on it.It is used titanium superstructures and zirconium for upper front teeth.
And then-the final crown or bridge is placed on topof the superstructures.
